At only 20 years of age Roger Hubbard's first album 'Brighton Bell Blues' was recorded by Nick Perls for his US label Blue Goose in 1970, the album gained critical acclaim across both sides of the Atlantic and even led Rolling Stone writer Timothy Ferris to suggest 'he could be one of the most exciting acoustic guitarists to come along since John Fahey', the following year after supporting Muddy Waters, the legend Waters himself was quoted as saying 'Roger Hubbard is one of the best in the States or the UK'....what happened since?
